10 Best Postpartum Products for C-Section Recovery

10 Best Postpartum Products for C-Section Recovery

Bringing a baby into the world is an incredible experience, but recovering from a c-section comes with its own unique challenges. From incision discomfort to getting used to moving around again, the right postpartum products can make a world of difference.

As a mom of four (and a c-section mama myself), I’ve tried and tested plenty of products—and these are my absolute c-section recovery must-haves that made the healing process smoother, more comfortable, and a little less overwhelming.

---

1. C-Section Belly Binder or Postpartum Wrap

A belly binder gives your incision gentle support, making it easier to walk, laugh, or even just stand up. It helps reduce swelling, supports your core, and makes recovery more comfortable. Look for a breathable, adjustable one you can wear under clothes.

---

2. High-Waisted Postpartum Underwear

Trust me—you’ll want underwear that sits well above your incision. High-waisted, soft, and stretchy postpartum underwear prevents rubbing and irritation while also giving light tummy support. Disposable postpartum underwear is great for the first couple of weeks, too.

3. Scar Cream & Silicone Strips

Once your doctor clears you, using scar cream or silicone strips can help your incision heal smoothly and reduce redness. It also feels empowering to take care of your scar—it’s part of your story.

4. Extra Pillows for Support

Rolling over, getting out of bed, or even coughing can be tough after surgery. Having extra pillows to prop yourself up, especially a wedge pillow or nursing pillow, makes resting and feeding your baby so much easier.

---

5. Loose, Comfy Clothing

Skip the tight waistbands and opt for flowy dresses, nursing nightgowns, and oversized tees. Comfort is queen in those early weeks, and soft fabrics make a big difference when you’re healing.

6. Nursing Bras & Tanks (or Pumping-Friendly Tops)

Whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, or formula feeding, easy-access clothing makes life so much easier. Soft, wireless nursing bras and tanks are postpartum staples, and they layer perfectly under cardigans or robes.

7. Large Water Bottle with Straw

Hydration is key for healing and energy (especially if you’re nursing). A big water bottle with a straw means you can sip while holding your baby—and not have to constantly refill.

---

8. Healthy, One-Handed Snacks

The postpartum hunger is real! Stock up on granola bars, trail mix, and protein snacks you can grab quickly. Keeping a snack basket near your bed or couch is a game-changer.

9. Baby Wrap or Carrier

Once you’re cleared by your doctor, a baby carrier or wrap helps you stay hands-free while keeping your little one close. Just be sure to pick one that doesn’t put pressure directly on your incision.

10. Gentle Self-Care Products

Simple things like dry shampoo, soothing body wash, and a nice face mask can make you feel human again. Even five minutes of self-care during nap time helps recharge your spirit.

Momcozy Maternity & Postpartum support

One brand that I absolutely love using and have been using since having my son in 2023 is Momcozy.

I absolutely love their belly band, because it's a wrap around band that has great lower back support. My husband says it looks like a belly cast, and yeah I have to totally agree!!

Next are these two bras that I received.
They are both perfect for breastfeeding or pumping.

The black one is Ultra-Soft & Cool Breeze Pumping & Nursing Bra 1.0. It has a compartment to insert the pump parts, especially for hands free pumps.
I received it in a size Large.

The beige one is Day&Night - Wireless Full-Coverage Everyday Bra which is also great for breastfeeding and also support for that postpartum book situation we all get.

I have so many great products that I have received from them throughout the years, I should really do a post about the items 😆

Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas

First if you've never been on a cruise, I highly recommend you try it!

The kids had a blast on this trip, they had so many activities for them to enjoy.

Mini golf, ice skating, kids activities all day, a carousel and so much more.

The trip was 7 days long and i wish it was longer!

Ofcourse with kids it can be stressful and for us moms in particular we need a vacation after vacation.

I did have my break down moments were I was overwhelmed and stressed out, I did take on most of the parenting duties because I am mom

I honestly loved taking the kids on this trip, they talk about it all the time because it was such a memorable vacay.

They had everything you needed.

Always had something to do, never a dull moment.

My oldest is the kind of kid who needs to have activities all day, and let's just say he was not disappointed at all. He was a very busy kid 😊

Let's talk about the food!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUSLY AMAZING!!!

Especially during dinner time, you got 5star meals that left my mouth watering and wishing I could stay there for EVERRRRRR.

My daughter had an absolute blast, she truly enjoyed all the activities that we were able to get too. Again there was alot going on!!

My almost one year old was living his best life and I am so glad I was able to enjoy such a wonderful trip with my husband and kiddos.

We stopped at St. Kitts and St. Thomas.
At St. Thomas we went and got oxtale and OMG it was absolutely delicious (take a shot everytime I say "absolutely" 🤣🤣).
But seriously it was so good and I ordered a lemonade, it was soooooooo delicious!!

The entertainment was top tier as well.
We saw a play (Wizard of Oz, literal Broadway performance!!).
As well as this aquatics acrobat show that was absolutely 😉😜 amazing!
NO SERIOUSLY the show was so cool, we were left stunned by the artistry of it all!!

The last day we all went to Coco Cay and it was a blast, getting to spend the whole day at the beach was honestly so much fun.

Overall I think this is a must have trip if you have kids and even if you don't.
We went with a few of our friends and SIL (who none have kids) and they had the best time ever!

I'm back!!!

 Hope everyone has been well.

I took a huge hiatus lol

Let's see I had my third last year...

And oh yeah I'm pregnant again, haha

I obviously can't stop having kids?!?!

The USA is in chaos (it's 2025).

I plan on posting more and sharing all things about life, what I'm working on and motherhood.

Stay tuned!!!
